Dr. Mitesh Patel
Dr. Patel graduated from New York University’s College of Arts and Science, majoring in biochemistry and minoring in math, before pursuing his dental education at New York University’s College of Dentistry. Following a general practice residency at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center, he worked as an associate in private practice in Orange County for three years before starting his own private practice -Putnam Dental Arts- with Dr. Shah.
Dr. Patel decided to pursue a dental career because of his interests in health-care and in fixing things, and a career in dentistry seemed the perfect composite of those two elements. Among his team at Putnam Dental Arts, he is known as Mr. Practical…always staying calm, cool, and collected.
To stay current on the latest technologies, Dr. Patel regularly completes continuing education and his recent courses include:

- Study Club for Implant Dentistry
Dr. Patel is married with two children. Outside the office, his interests include watching TV, reading, following the New York Giants, and staying fit by running.
